Dungarvin is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role aims to empower independence while maintaining dignity and respect.

In this full-time position, you’ll work various schedules, with paid training and growth opportunities. Starting pay is $19 per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Valid Driver's License (due to transporting individuals served).
• A successful background clearance is required as part of onboarding/employment.
• Good communication is key in this role; you’ll document care and collaborate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure the comfort, safety, and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as moving, dressing, bathing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Document care plans and follow support plans with internal and external team members.
