Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency in Pennsylvania is seeking compassionate, bilingual Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Chester County. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred/required based on client needs; full-time and part-time opportunities available.

DSPs provide daily living support, accompany clients to activities, and document services while upholding dignity, independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish as required or preferred.
• Experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) or in similar caregiving roles preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable and responsible with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
• Support individuals in developing independence and achieving personal goals.
• Assist with community activities, appointments, and social engagement.
• Provide transportation or accompany individuals to community activities when required.
• Communicate effectively with individuals, families, caregivers, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and activities.
• Follow individualized support plans and agency policies.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

English & Spanish Speaking | Chester County, PA At Peace Healthcare Agency is looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Bilingual Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team and provide meaningful support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are especially seeking candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish and are passionate about helping individuals live with greater independence, dignity, and confidence.

Position Details

Location: Chester County, PA

Service Areas Include: West Chester, Coatesville, Downingtown, Kennett Square, Oxford, Exton, Malvern, West Grove, Parkesburg, Honey Brook, and surrounding areas

Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
