Job summary

Gray Media in Brookhaven, GA is seeking a dynamic bilingual Digital Host / Producer to lead Spanish-language digital content for our OTT/TV platforms. You will solo-anchor from our studio and production segments for digital outlets while contributing to daily newsroom operations.

You will produce, write, shoot, and edit stories for online and broadcast, and help shape multiplatform content strategy in a fast-paced newsroom.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English; strong language skills required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary/Description:

Telemundo Atlanta is seeking a dynamic, bilingual, news-driven journalist who is passionate about informing our local community and thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first newsroom. As our Digital Host / Producer, you’ll lead the production of original Spanish-language content for our digital platforms, engage viewers through live streams, and create standout segments that bring audiences coming back. You’ll solo-anchor from our OTT/TV studio and produce digital segments from start to finish, while contributing to daily newsroom operations and helping shape our multiplatform content strategy. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produce and anchor multiple daily digital segments or shows for OTT/TV and social platforms in native Spanish.
  Collaborate with show producers and anchors, assisting with repurposing news content.
  Post and update local stories and content on web and social platforms.
  Manage livestream scheduling across digital platforms.
• Implement livestream best practices to grow and engage the audience.
• Engage viewers on social media, including maintaining a consistent presence on Facebook Live and Instagram.
  Build a broad working knowledge of the viewing area, including key people, places, events, and local personalities.
  Research, gather, shoot, write, and edit stories for broadcast and online publication.
  Participate in daily editorial meetings and fill in on other newscasts as needed.
  Report live during breaking news and develop reliable sources of information.
  Pitch and produce enterprise, hard-news, and research-driven stories under tight deadlines.
  Apply strong news judgment to story selection and presentation; write clearly and conversationally in native Spanish.
  Conduct interviews and deliver stories with confidence on camera.
  Maintain professional and ethical conduct, contribute to a collaborative newsroom, and stay current on local and national news.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High proficiency in spoken and written Spanish and English.
• At least one year experience of producing digital content.
• Experience with ENPS, Edius, Canva and Adobe preferred.
• BS/BA in journalism or communications preferred.
• Ability to shoot, write, and edit original stories for digital platforms.
• Familiarity with OTT procedures and operations, including platforms like FB and YouTube.
• Strong news judgment, interviewing skills, and on-camera presence.
• Able to work under pressure, meet daily deadlines, and adapt in a high-energy newsroom.
• Positive attitude and team player.
• Valid driver's license.
