Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

A client is looking for DevOps Engineer bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).

The client is an established firm in the global trading space. They are currently expanding their technology team and offer great opportunity for internal growth.

Description

Design, implement, and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines, automating the build, test, and deployment processes to support scalable and reliable software delivery.

Use Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog), troubleshoot system issues promptly, and optimize infrastructure and pipelines for performance and reliability.

Ensure DevOps practices meet financial industry regulations by integrating security controls, managing compliance, and aligning processes with operational requirements.

Partner with cross-functional teams to embed DevOps best practices, provide guidance on tools and processes, and support a collaborative, multilingual team environment.

Profile

MUST BE Fluent in both Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English.

2-5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Systems Engineering, or similar roles, with a strong track record in building CI/CD pipelines from the ground up.

Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries is highly desirable.

Skilled in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), containerization with Docker, orchestration with Kubernetes, and scripting languages like Python or Bash.

Proficient in AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), and version control using Git.
