AvaHR is seeking a bilingual dental assistant with a minimum of 1 year of chairside experience. Coronal Polish certification is preferred, CPR certification is a plus, and a CDA certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience
• Coronal Polish Certificate preferred
• CDA Certificate preferred
• High School Diploma required
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service with a chairside manner
• Assist dentist with four-handed dentistry and universal precautions
• Assist Hygienist with patient care, room turnover and charting
• Support front desk with phone calls, check-in/out and confirmations
• Be aware of doctor schedules and patient flow
• Comply with office policies and OSHA safety guidelines
• Expose and record radiographs digitally
• Maintain organized operatories and ensure supplies are available
• Prepare instruments and assist in sterilization
• Document patient records and informed consent
• Record dental findings in the electronic chart
• Take impressions for prosthetic procedures
• Uphold care standards for patient safety and comfort
• Demonstrate punctuality and urgency in daily tasks
