Job summary

Delfina Medical Group is seeking a virtual Doula to act as a health coach for pregnant patients and new moms, supporting them through pregnancy and postpartum journeys.

This contract role requires DONA/ICEA/CAPPA/ProDoula certification, bilingual Spanish and English, and comfort with telehealth. Responsibilities include weekly patient engagement, education, and adherence to care protocols.

Qualifications

• Certified as DONA, ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula.
• Excellent communication and conversational skills.
• Experience with web and mobile technologies.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English essential.
• Experience with Florida communities a plus.
• Telehealth experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols weekly.
• Ensure patient engagement and participation for pregnant patients and new mothers.
• Ensure patients adhere to care protocols and tracking defined by the provider and/or organization.

Objective:

The Delfina Doula will act as a virtual health coach to support pregnant patients and new moms throughout their pregnancy and postpartum journey.

About You:

Our ideal Doula is one that has experience in pregnancy, birth and postpartum. You are supportive about providing virtual support with both 1:1 and group education.

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Care Delivery manager to execute patient engagement and coaching protocols on a weekly basis
• Ensure patient’s engagement and participation for both pregnant patients and new mothers
• Ensure patients adhere to recommended care protocols and tracking as defined by the healthcare provider and/or organization

Qualifications:

• DONA (Birth, CD, or CBE), ICEA, CAPPA, or ProDoula certified
• Strong communication and conversational skills
• Experience with Web and mobile technologies
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must have
• Experience and knowledge of Florida communities is a plus
• Telehealth experience is a plus

Compensation:

$30-35 USD per hour

The compensation range for this contract position represents a wide variety of factors, including location, skills, experience, education, and training. Candidates who meet most of the qualifications above should expect to earn near the middle of the posted compensation range.
