The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, reliable attendance, and the ability to work 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.,

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
• Prior janitorial, custodial, day porter, or commercial cleaning experience.
• Preferred: cleaning experience in a school or educational environment.
• Reliable attendance and availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions in a school day context.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, orderly classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and shared spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and trash/recycling.
• Monitor high-traffic areas and respond to spills and cleaning needs promptly.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow site procedures for safe use and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
• Communicate professionally in English and Spanish with school staff and the Macs team.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply needs to the supervisor.
