Job summary

DTK Facility Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Day Porter to help maintain clean, functional spaces during business hours. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, restock supplies, and respond quickly to maintenance needs in office buildings, schools, medical facilities, or commercial spaces.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with customer service skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive movements.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for facility users for cleaning and maintenance needs.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Dust and wipe desks, tables, windowsills, etc.
• Clean restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors) and restock supplies.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, replace liners.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
• Other duties as needed.
