Job Description

Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are also expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure maximum satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of product quality and store presentation. Customer Service Specialists aim to provide excellent service while meeting sales goals.

Job duties include contact with customers, access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other valuables, which may be supervised or unsupervised. A criminal history review is required to protect the business and ensure safety for all stakeholders.

The role requires working within a 15-mile radius of store #5897, located at 4200 Derry St, Harrisburg, PA 17111.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting products/services
  • Build trust with wholesale and retail customers
  • Process sales transactions accurately
  • Achieve sales goals regularly
  • Maintain accurate work order files
  • Pull products from sales floor or warehouse
  • Tint and mix products per customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays
  • Clean store equipment
  • Load/unload delivery trucks and assist with deliveries
  • Maintain stocked, presentable areas
  • Stay knowledgeable about products and discuss options
  • Follow inventory procedures
  • Suggest sales improvements
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work without sponsorship
  • Proficient in English and Spanish
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • One year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • Experience selling paint and related products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
