Job summary

Trademasters Service is seeking a Custodian Supervisor to manage a team of six custodians at a NE Washington, DC federal office building. You will train staff, supervise daily cleaning operations, and ensure sanitation and safety across indoor areas and exterior grounds.

This full-time role requires 3 years of supervisory experience and 5 years of cleaning experience in similar settings, plus strong English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience leading cleaning staff in commercial, hospital or federal office environments.
• 5 years of experience cleaning commercial, hospital, or government facilities in the past 7 years.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Basic computer skills to track and complete paperwork/documents.
• Must pass background check and DOJ security clearance to access federal properties.
• Must pass pre-employment and ongoing drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, directs, and trains custodial staff, as required.
• Inspects work, generates reports, and presents information to Project Management.
• Maintains a safe working environment and high level of customer service.
• Completes daily duties and ensures upkeep of assigned areas and equipment.
• Holds staff accountable to tasks and schedules.
• Coaches, mentors, and applies disciplinary actions as needed.
