The State Courts System is seeking a Court Interpreter to provide English–Spanish interpreting and translation services across the four-county circuit, ensuring due process in all proceedings.

The role reports to the Supervising Court Interpreter and requires familiarity with the Florida Rules for Certification and Regulation of Spoken Language Court Interpreters; background check is required.

Locations include Saint Augustine, Deland, Bunnell, and Daytona Beach.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully and in a professional manner with the public, attorneys, judges and all courthouse personnel.
• Knowledge of and ability to use correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Responsabilités

• Provide English–Spanish interpreting and translation services to ensure due process in court proceedings throughout the four-county circuit.
• Comply with the Code of Professional Conduct as set forth in Part III of the Florida Rules for Certification and Regulation of Spoken Language Court Interpreters.
