Job summary

LONGi Solar is seeking a highly organized Paralegal to support the North America Legal team. The role covers contract administration, litigation support, corporate governance, compliance, and legal operations in an international business setting.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Mandarin and English, with 3+ years of corporate paralegal experience and ABA-approved certification. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented position based in New York.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
• Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, proofread, and manage commercial agreements, NDAs, amendments, procurement contracts, service agreements, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Administer the contract lifecycle: intake, routing, execution, filing, renewal tracking, and database maintenance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on contract status and ongoing matters.
• Review legal invoices, process outside counsel billing, monitor budgets, and maintain spending records and budgets.
• Conduct legal and factual research on corporate, commercial, employment, compliance, and regulatory matters.
• Prepare legal summaries, presentations, reports for management and stakeholders.
• Assist with corporate governance activities: maintaining corporate records, entity documents, resolutions, and regulatory filings.
• Support litigation/dispute management: document preservation, discovery responses, holds, subpoenas, and case files.
• Assist with compliance initiatives, policy updates, training materials, export control docs, and internal communications.
• Translate documents between Mandarin Chinese and English; provide interpretation during meetings.
• Maintain legal document repositories and retention practices.
• Support special legal projects and other duties as assigned.
