Job summary

Benjamin Moore seeks a Bilingual Contractor Training Specialist to deliver expert product and service training to professional painting contractors, focusing on product performance, application techniques, and the brand’s value. The role supports Western markets, including CA, AZ, NM, NV, and CO, with substantial travel from Aurora, CO.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, have training delivery experience, and be able to collaborate with marketing, R&D, and sales teams

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is required.
• BA/BS college degree preferred, or equivalent industry business experience.
• Experience with facilitation and delivering training.

Responsibilities

• Using knowledge of Benjamin Moore services products, conduct training programs with a focus on product application for training contractors.
• Monitors the effectiveness of the training, while collecting feedback on sessions from attendees for future improvements to content and presentation.
• Collaborate with the sales team to implement customized training programs for key, strategic customers.
• Partner with the TIS in each market to ensure alignment of business plans and training strategies for sales reps, retailers and end-users
• Work with local field sales representatives and sales management to develop product application training plans to support new accounts, critical businesses and key accounts.
• Ensures a strong connection with marketing and R&D to align strategy, leverage marketing content, programs and reinforce marketing initiatives.
• Utilize available systems & technology to facilitate improved reporting of metrics and communication with internal customers.
• Partner with Benjamin Moore market leaders to conduct annual assessments and quarterly reviews for reps and customers to build and measure contractor training plans, monitor outcomes and effectiveness.
• Regularly collaborates with sales leadership and field training teams to align program goals, timelines, and execution strategies, fostering a unified approach across the organization.
• Work collaboratively with the market TIS and content development team to amend existing product training program.
• Secures product application space and follows procedures to set-up and take down material.
• Understand safety requirements required to maintain a safe and secure environment for the participants and the facility.
