Trilogy, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Family Therapist to provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in English and Spanish. The role focuses on reducing barriers to service and may include telehealth for part of scheduled days.

The position requires a Master’s in a relevant field and experience with families, mental health, and substance use; a valid IL driver’s license is required. Join a team dedicated to accessible community care.

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in psychology, social work, MFT, or counseling.
• Experience working with families and children in community settings.
• Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with daily access to a vehicle and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy in English and Spanish.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with input from client and team.
• Advocate for clients and link to needed community services; assess holistic needs.
• Maintain documentation meeting agency and grant funder standards.
• Collaborate with team to ensure coverage for client needs.
• Perform case management, home visits, and other assigned duties.

The Bilingual (Spanish/English) Family Therapist will provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to individuals and families. The Bilingual Community Therapist will provide strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed services to clients and their families with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance use disorders. The role will focus on reducing barriers to service for people who would not otherwise be able to access services due to income and insurance barriers.

The Bilingual Community Therapist will provide behavioral health and navigation services in community and natural settings including home, doctors offices, community agencies, schools and other private community space.

The Bilingual Community Therapist may be eligible to work remotely to provide telehealth services for a portion of their scheduled work days.

• Provide strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed clinical services to individuals and families with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring substance abuse disorders in English and Spanish.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the input of the client and their team, which includes providers and natural supports. Collaborate with members of the client’s team to ensure quality of treatment and coordination of care.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, linking them to needed community services; assess client’s personal, medical, social, emotional, and environmental situation to plan for linkage and treatment course.
• Maintain documentation of services that meets agency and grant funder standards.
• Work with others on the team to ensure coverage for clients needs is met to the best ability of the team.
• Perform other case management duties, home visits, and/or projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Counseling.
• Experience working with families and children in community settings.
• Experience working with people with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license with daily access to a well-maintained vehicle with $100,000/$300,000 liability insurance
