Job summary

Lutheran Services in Iowa seeks an Employment focused Community Resource Navigator to support clients on their path to work and independence, bridging language and cultural barriers while linking people to LSI services and community resources. Part-time, 30 hours per week, daytime availability preferred with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED and 6 months related experience.
• Ability to communicate successfully in English and at least one other language.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support services to clients as part of the employment team.
• Overcome language and cultural barriers to help clients integrate into the community.
• Communicate information to clients from classes, appointments, and paperwork.
• Collaborate with community partners, volunteers, and LSIs staff to deliver high-quality services.
