Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License is required.
• Retail/community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Immunization certification is required.
• Spanish-speaking ability is preferred.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills needed.
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counseling for every new prescription.
• Conduct one-on-one pharmacist–patient consultations.
• Triage walk-in patients and assess medication-related needs.
• Recommend OTC therapies and refer patients to primary care or ER when necessary.
• Serve as a highly accessible healthcare provider, especially for Spanish-speaking patients.
• Administer immunizations and provide vaccine education.
• Ensure safe, accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Support inventory management and prescription adjudication.
• Build lasting relationships with patients and families.
