Job summary

Cal-Wood Education Center seeks a Bilingual Community Educator to support our Community Engagement team in expanding outdoor and environmental education access for students and families. This role involves representing Cal-Wood at events, delivering bilingual environmental lessons, and building strong school and community partnerships.

The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish and English, experienced with youth or families, and able to travel to local schools and events.

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
• Experience working with students or families in educational or community settings.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Represent Cal-Wood at community and school events, family nights, and outreach opportunities.
• Deliver bilingual, age-appropriate environmental education lessons in partner schools.
• Build relationships with families, teachers, and community partners to expand program access.
• Provide outreach information in English and Spanish and support follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and program delivery.
• Uphold Cal‑Wood’s commitment to inclusive, accessible outdoor experiences.
