Job summary

Eskenazi Health seeks a role to help develop and implement the Ventanilla de Salud (VDS) program, improving access to primary and preventive services for the Hispanic community in Marion County and surrounding areas. You will work in partnership with the Mexican Consulate and local health organizations.

Responsibilities include educating participants in English/Spanish, managing data in Excel, preparing reports, and coordinating events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and bicultural in USA/Mexico.
• Driver's license with proof of insurance.
• Health worker with promoter certification preferred.
• CMA/CMCA/CNA/RN or 2+ years clinical setting recommended.
• Good in MS Word & Excel.
• Ability to operate a basic blood pressure machine.

Responsibilities

• Advocate, care, teach and serve for Marion County's Hispanic community.
• Provide preventive health education to participants and families.
• Coordinate presentations for VDS program objectives.
• Inform clients about resources in English and Spanish.
• Manage data and weekly Excel updates.
• Prepare daily reports for consulate and government.
• Forecast and manage program budgets and reports.
• Coordinate logistics for health events and workshops.
• Assist in procuring in-kind donations for the VDS program.
• Recruit, train and supervise volunteers and scheduling.
• Build partnerships with local health centers and organizations.
• Engage in webinars and conferences to stay informed on health issues.
• Pursue grant opportunities to enhance outreach.
• Educate community on immunization importance.
