Job summary

Project FoodBox in Suffolk County is seeking a part-time Bilingual Community Outreach Ambassador to engage at health fairs and community events, discussing our medically tailored groceries program and collecting leads for follow-up.

You must be fluent in English and Spanish, possess a valid driver’s license, and be comfortable approaching unfamiliar people. Some evenings and weekends required. Perks include PTO accrual, paid sick leave, a weekly employee food box, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle access.
• Flexible availability for events including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Represent Project FoodBox at 3–4 community events per week in Suffolk County.
• Educate residents about programs and Medicaid eligibility; collect lead information.
• Submit leads promptly for call center follow-up and build program awareness.
