Impacto Media is seeking a bilingual Community Impact & Solutions Reporter to produce in-depth, hyperlocal journalism for North Philadelphia’s Latino communities. The role is on-site and works under Esperanza’s ecosystem, collaborating with residents, leaders, and local organizations to deliver fair, independent reporting.

Qualifications

• Develop in-depth, solutions-focused stories.
• Conduct interviews and review records for accuracy.
• Translate complex information into clear, accessible pieces.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Research, report, and write community-focused news articles.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with residents, leaders, and local organizations.
• Attend neighborhood meetings, community events, and forums.
• Collaborate with editorial and leadership teams to shape coverage.
• Support distribution and visibility of the publication in the community.
