Job summary

Planned Parenthood California Central Coast is seeking a Community Health Educator to implement education programs across Ventura County, with a hybrid work arrangement centered at the Thousand Oaks Health Center. The role involves delivering bilingual health education and coordinating curricula under supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong communication skills, and experience in reproductive health or community outreach, with readiness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience giving presentations on health topics is a plus.
• Experience with reproductive health and justice issues is a plus.
• Experience with community outreach is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based sexual health education to diverse groups in English and Spanish.
• Develop and update curricula under supervision.
• Promote awareness of PPCCC services and referrals.
• Participate in program evaluation and grant reporting.
• Attend trainings and meetings within the 3-county service area.
• Coordinate with volunteers and interns when assigned.
