Job summary

Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is seeking a Community Outreach & Education Coordinator to advance our mission by expanding community partnerships and coordinating outreach activities across our health centers. The role emphasizes educational programming, outreach coordination, and serving as a liaison between External Affairs and health centers.

The ideal candidate is organized, relationship-focused, and passionate about community engagement, health equity, and education.

Qualifications

• Ability to effectively facilitate virtual reproductive and sexual health education.
• Experience developing and managing content across multiple social media platforms.
• Comfort discussing sensitive topics including comprehensive sexuality education, STIs, and FDA-approved contraceptives.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of community needs in designated areas to provide feedback on how to better serve them.
• Coordinate, schedule and deliver educational presentations to groups, community-based organizations, schools and others as appropriate.
• Provide educational presentations in person and/or virtually; use online resources to engage participants and deliver education on virtual platforms.
• Help develop social media content with region lead and maintain materials for presentations.
• Represent PPPSW at community meetings and events to build networks and increase visibility and support.
• Input data related to presentations and outreach events; support volunteer opportunities.
