Job summary

Hudson Regional Health in Jersey City, NJ is hiring a Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and nurses across our four-hospital system. You will provide clinical and clerical support, take histories, assist with procedures, and help maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish), hold NJ MA certification, and have at least 2 years hospital MA experience; BLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Must have NJ Medical Assistant certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant hospital experience.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Take patient medical history.
• Explain treatments or procedures to patients.
• Prepare patients and assist physicians with procedures.
• Sterilize and clean equipment.
• Obtain vital signs, EKGs, and assist in phlebotomy.
• Stock rooms with supplies and maintain charts.
