Astera Cancer Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their Hematology/Oncology team in DeLand, FL, providing high-quality clinical care and administrative support. You will assist with patient intake, venipuncture, and communication between patients and providers, especially for Spanish-speaking patients. Candidates should have at least one year of medical office experience and must be a certified CMA. The role includes comprehensive benefits and the schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifikationen

• Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in Oncology/Hematology.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with venipuncture and specimen collection.

Aufgaben

• Perform frequent venipuncture and specimen collection for oncology patients with high accuracy.
• Assist with patient intake, vitals, and rooming; support providers and staff with other clinical needs.
• Manage patient charts, scan medical records, and monitor daily schedules for a seamless clinic experience.
