Job summary

American Family Care West Haven is seeking a friendly, bilingual Clinical Medical Assistant (Spanish-speaking required) to join our urgent care team in West Haven, CT. This part-time role supports patient intake, triage, and provider assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: 24 hours per week with 8- or 12-hour shifts. Pay: $21–$23/hour. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) active certification required.
• Friendly, reliable and team-oriented.
• Experience in a medical office or urgent care preferred.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and assist with clinical intake.
• Perform phlebotomy and administer vaccines.
• Take and document vital signs.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and assist providers.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms between visits.
• Discharge patients with care instructions.
• Manage supplies and maintain clinical equipment.
