Job summary

HyundaiAutoeverAmerica, Irvine, CA, is seeking a bilingual Cloud Engineering Manager to lead OpenStack-based private cloud operations, collaborate with HQ Korea, and drive private cloud business growth.

You will manage budgets, forecast revenue, control costs, and own P&L while guiding the Cloud Team and contractors in 24/7 operations.

Strong leadership, cloud infra expertise, and English-Korean fluency are required to align global teams and deliver reliable, scalable services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 6 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
Bilingual Korean and English required.
Experience with OpenStack or similar cloud platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee design, operation, and management of OpenStack-based private cloud platform.
Lead Cloud Team and contractors in planning and executing cloud operations.
Design, deploy, operate, and optimize the private cloud's virtualization, networking, compute, and storage.
Own end-to-end financial management, including revenue forecasting, cost control, and P&L accountability.
Coordinate with HQ in Korea on technical and architectural initiatives.
Manage 24/7 on-call rotation and major incident response.
Ensure service reliability, availability, and performance.
Communicate with stakeholders in the U.S. and Korea to align operations.
