Job summary

Personal Growth Counseling Services seeks a Clinical Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, individual and group therapy, and case management to adults, teens, and families. The role supports sobriety, mental health, and overall wellbeing, with office and community-based visits.

The position requires an Ohio license, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and prior behavioral health experience. A strong focus on ethics, documentation, and collaboration with community resources is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social or related behavioral health field.
• Active Ohio license to practice as Social Worker/Counselor (LSW/LISW/LISW-S/LPC/LPCC-S/PC/PCC/PCC-S).
• Fluent in English and Spanish with spoken and written communication in both languages.
• Two years or more experience in behavioral health or Substance Use Disorder populations.
• Knowledge of multiple clinical modalities, theory and human behavior, social work theory and practice.
• Must maintain a current Ohio or Michigan driver’s license with a good driving record and be willing to use personal car.
• Computer skills including Excel with ability to create reports.
• Strong organizational, time management, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity, judgement, and professionalism.
• Analytical and solutions-oriented.
• Ability to work well in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Must have current CPR certification.
• Active Ohio Medicaid number.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face diagnostic assessments using DSM-5 for adults, teens, and children.
• Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy.
• Conduct client visits at the office and in community settings.
• Maintain complete and current clinical records for all clients.
• Meet productivity goals.
• Manage caseload and ensure audit-ready case files.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources to address client needs.
• Enter clinical documentation in the EHR per procedures.
• Perform duties in a professional and ethical manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
