Job summary

Arizona Liver Health is seeking a Clinical Research Patient Recruitment Coordinator II or III to support enrollment in diverse clinical trials. This onsite role in Peoria, AZ operates 7am-4pm with a salary range of $60,000–$90,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

You will educate patients on trial eligibility, coordinate with investigators, obtain HIPAA consent, and manage data in our systems while delivering an excellent service experience and ensuring patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience and training in the conduct of clinical research and basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Bilingual English and Spanish -- written and spoken is required
• Thorough understanding of the principles of GCP and biomedical research ethics.
• Thorough understanding of clinical research trials and their enrollment status and goals.
• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Ability to consistently recruit for moderate to advance complexity trials correctly and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with recruitment, data management and office administration is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
• Must interact effectively with professional and administrative staff, sponsor, regulatory representatives, potential and current research subjects.
• Strong organization, time-management, and leadership skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review standard of care (SOC) patients seen by providers who may qualify or be interested in participating in clinical trials.
• Answer phone calls, social-media leads and inquiries, and use web-based systems to contact interested candidates.
• Obtain HIPAA consent and enter subject data in the electronic trial management system.
• Evaluate participants through pre-screening and in-person interviews to ensure eligibility.
• Monitor, maintain, and find new studies for screen fails and those who completed a study.
• Contact potential subjects as directed by providers.
• Recruit new subjects with Investigators and research staff to meet enrollment goals.
• Assist research staff with basic administrative and clinical tasks.
• Provide excellent service and maintain confidentiality and professional decorum.
• Review and understand research protocols and eligibility criteria.
• Schedule appointments for eligible participants and maintain accurate records.
• Attend research meetings and develop recruitment strategies.
