Job summary

Health Haven and Health Synergy Clinical Research in Florida are expanding their clinical research team. We seek a Clinical Research Coordinator to manage trials, work directly with patients, and ensure high-quality data collection.

You will ensure protocol adherence, regulatory compliance, and safety in obesity/weight loss studies while collaborating with investigators, sponsors, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 1+ year of clinical research experience required.
• 1+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience working directly with patients in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Professionalism and ability to maintain composure in all situations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Spanish language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day coordination of clinical trials, ensuring protocol adherence and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, monitors, and regulatory bodies to support study progress.
• Data collection and management: enter study data into electronic systems with accuracy.
• Identify, screen, and enroll eligible participants and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, GCP, IRB, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintain regulatory binders, case report forms, and essential study documents in audit-ready condition.
• Collect, process, store, and ship biological samples when applicable.
• Manage daily trial operations, including scheduling visits and coordinating procedures.
• Coordinate participant visits, follow-ups, and study-related procedures for smooth execution.
• Support additional clinical research activities as needed.
