Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or HS diploma with four years of related experience.
• BLS certification may be required based on role.
• Two years in research-related activities preferred.
• IATA Hazardous Goods Shipping certification preferred.
• CITI Human Research Protection certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist PI in planning and implementing clinical research studies.
• Recruit study participants and complete follow-up.
• Complete source document abstracting and CRFs per best practice.
• Maintain regulatory binders and ensure IRB compliance.
• Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, and annual reviews.
• Perform basic laboratory activities as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and comply with FDA GCP.
• Identify protocol issues and coordinate with sponsor.
• Arrange tests and procedures per protocol and report results.
• Participate in site visits to review documentation.
• Maintain inventory of study supplies.
• Assess patient eligibility and verify information with physician.
• Interview patients for eligibility and obtain informed consent.
• QC CRFs prior to data entry and resolve data queries.
• Perform data entry and conduct required tests (EKG, Walk tests).
