Job summary

The Research Assistant at Alcanza Clinical Research provides support to CRCs, Site Manager, Principal/Sub Investigators, and site staff, performing clinical, lab, and administrative tasks in compliance with GCP, ICH, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and SOPs.

Key duties include assisting with patient screening, follow-up visits, data entry, handling vital signs and ECGs, and scheduling visits, with a focus on accurate documentation and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 1 year admin/clinical experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
• Experience with EHR and data entry.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRCs and site staff with study enrollment and visits.
• Document in source charts and enter data into EDC.
• Obtain vital signs and ECGs; may perform blood draws.
• Schedule visits and reminders; maintain logs and filing.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and SOPs.
• Support recruitment and tracking as needed.
