Job summary

Promise Community Health Center in Spencer, IA, is hiring for a WIC/Maternal Health support role. The position is hourly, with 20–40 hours weekly, based on clinic schedules, and requires bilingual English/Spanish and an associate degree in office management or related field.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in office managing or similar field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Providing clinic and office support to WIC and Maternal Health staff.
• Implementing state and local agency policies and procedures.
• Assisting in clinic set-up/tear down (including computers & printers) and loading and unloading of van.
• Reminding participants of appointments via phone calls and text messages.
• Interviewing participants to complete intake information and verifying participant residence, identification, and income.
• Documenting physical presence of participants.
• Assisting participants in filling out necessary forms.
• Initiating and directing clinic flow.
• Scheduling participant certifications, nutrition education, Maternal Health and follow-up appointments and providing appointment notices to participants.
