Job summary

Amegy Bank seeks aClient Service Associate (Teller) at the Tanglewood, Houston branch to deliver exceptional service and build client relationships. You will handle everyday banking needs, process transactions, and identify cross-sell opportunities in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a service-driven, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and the ability to work Monday–Friday and some Saturday hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, banking, cash handling, or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Prior cash handling or customer-facing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately within authorized limits while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to established cash controls.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
• Perform account maintenance, issue checks, process transfers, and accept loan payments.
• Proactively cross-sell bank products to deepen relationships.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
