Job summary

Amegy Bank's New Braunfels branch is seeking a Part-time Client Service Associate (Teller) to deliver exceptional service, handle transactions, and build relationships with customers in a fast-paced environment. This is a 20-hour per week role with potential for growth.

The successful candidate will be service-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM or similar partial shifts, reporting to the branch leadership and supporting daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in customer service, banking, cash handling, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with computers and cash handling systems.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately within authorized limits and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate banking products and services.
• Perform account maintenance, transfers, and loan payments processing.
• Cross-sell banking products to deepen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and procedures.
• Resolve issues promptly or escalate as needed.
• Safeguard client information and follow security protocols.
