Job summary

Central City Concern is seeking a Client Access Specialist to join a multidisciplinary, client-centered care team in Portland. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, schedule multiple providers, and coordinate interpreters while maintaining privacy and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year in medical office or admin support; or 2 years in high-volume public contact role.
• Clinical setting experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• CPR certification required before start.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients/visitors and provide information in a welcoming manner.
• Enter demographics and schedule appointments across providers.
• Verify insurance, update fee agreements, and collect payments.
• Coordinate interpretation services and manage patient flow.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy regulations and support compliance.
