Job summary

Imperial Cleaning Company in Amityville, NY is seeking an on-site Operations Supervisor to lead janitorial staff across multiple accounts. You will train employees in janitorial and administrative tasks, replace custodial technicians, submit and deliver supplies, and respond to emergencies after hours.

You will work with managers to schedule staff, manage callouts, report accidents, and address performance issues, including retraining as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with Commercial cleaning industry a plus.
• Must speak fluent English and Spanish.
• Detail oriented and strong communication skills.
• Results oriented: the ability to resolve challenges and emergencies at a moments notice.

Responsibilities

• Train employees- Janitorial and administrative tasks.
• Replace Custodial Technicians or cover accounts.
• Submit and deliver supplies as needed.
• On-Call for emergency situations/calls - evenings and weekends.
• Screening for new Custodial Technicians.
• Work with Managers to schedule staff and ensure coverage.
• Manage employee callouts.
• Corresponding with Custodial Technicians.
• Report accidents/injury.
• Address and resolve any employee performance issues - Identify and retrain as seen or directed.
