Job summary

Pearland ISD is seeking a bilingual classroom aide to assist teachers in preparing and managing activities and administrative tasks. You will work under supervision of a certified bilingual teacher, supporting students and daily classroom operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and a Texas Educational Aide Certificate (or eligibility). Prior experience with school-aged children is preferred, with emphasis on Spanish literacy and basic clerical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (can be obtained after hire).
• Must have completed at least two years of college; or an associate degree or higher; or met a rigorous academic standard.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in preparation and management of classroom activities.
• Work under supervision of a certified bilingual teacher(s).
