Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is hiring a full-time Child and Family Therapist in Kelso, WA. The role includes individual and family therapy, case management, crisis stabilization, and treatment planning, with coordination with medication providers and primary physicians.

Applicants must have a Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work and meet WAC requirements. English/Spanish bilingual preferred; Cerner and MS Office proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with course-work in psychological diagnostics.
• Must meet WAC requirements for Mental Health Professional.
• English/Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Experience with Cerner and MS Office.
• Experience working with children and families.
• CMHS preferred or must be willing to work towards this.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally and culturally appropriate diagnostic assessments for each patient.
• Document outcomes, justify diagnoses, and communicate with collaborators.
• Provide individual and/or family counseling in coordination with other systems.
• Gather information for treatment plan development and coordination.
• Refer patients to psychiatric and medication management services as appropriate.
• Coordinate with schools, case workers and others involved in care.
