Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers in Washington state seeks a full-time Child and Family Therapist for the Migrant Education Program in Skagit County. The position provides mental health assessments, individual and family counseling, case management, crisis stabilization, and coordination with medical and educational partners.

You must hold a Master’s in psychology, counseling, or social work, a current Washington State license in a relevant field, and a Child Mental Health Specialist credential

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or social work with diagnostic coursework.
• Active Washington State professional license in a relevant discipline.
• Child Mental Health Specialist credential or intent to pursue qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide developmentally appropriate diagnostic assessments for youth served.
• Deliver individual and family counseling, and coordinate with schools and community partners.
• Perform crisis stabilization and develop treatment plans; refer to psychiatric/medication services when needed.
• Gather information from past services to inform treatment planning and ensure confidentiality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clients and families.
