Job summary

Care-O-World in Washington, NC is seeking experienced childcare professionals to join our growing team. Lead a teaching team to plan, implement, and assess student learning and development while building strong connections with children and families.

We offer competitive pay starting at $10.65 to $15.00 per hour, based on education and experience, plus Health & Life Insurance, PTO, tuition reimbursement, retirement plan, flexible schedules, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or a related field.
• NC Childcare Credentials.
• Experience: At least 2 years of licensed childcare experience.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a teaching team to plan, implement, and assess student learning and development.
• Build meaningful, communication-focused relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.
• Ensure compliance with NC-DCDEE policies and guidelines (including sanitation and CACFP regulations).
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes literacy, learning, and engagement.
• Support an inclusive, child-centered atmosphere where every child can feel confident and secure to explore and grow.
