Job summary

Child Development Schools North Carolina LLC is seeking a Lead/Master Teacher in Winston-Salem to guide early learners and lead classrooms with a focus on safety and development. You will plan engaging activities and build strong partnerships with families in a caring learning environment.

You will help nurture children aged six weeks to twelve years, promote growth across developmental areas, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and excellence in early childhood education.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old, background check, HS diploma or GED, and 12 hours of childcare training within 30 days; ECE education and licensed center experience a plus.
  • Genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and changing circumstances.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of working with children.

Your Role as a Lead/Master Teacher:

Requirements

You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You:

  • Are at least 18 years old, can pass a background check, hold a high school diploma or GED, and complete 12 hours of training in childcare within 30 days of starting your employment. Education in Early Childhood Education and experience within a licensed center is a big plus!
  • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances.
  • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
