Job summary

Surestaff, LLC is hiring a Bilingual Chemical Batch Maker for our client’s manufacturing plant in Woodridge, IL. The role covers production of batched items for filling operations, weighing and blending raw materials, testing for quality, and tracking inventory.

The candidates must communicate in English and Spanish, stand for a full shift, and lift up to 50 lbs. The 3rd shift runs 11:00 PM–7:00 AM with overtime on a first-come, first-served basis, and a benefits package including health,

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a production environment.
• Basic mathematical skills; understands metrics system.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

• Obtain batch sheets from laboratory supervisor.
• Weigh items.
• Bring sample of completed batch to laboratory for testing and approval.
• Adjust batch as dictated by laboratory.
• Obtain and apply tank tickets after laboratory approval.
• Label and fill tote/drum/pail quantities.
• Change line and raw material filters.
• Operate and maintain sodium hypochlorite reclaim system.
• Immediately report any safety/maintenance/equipment issues to the quality manager.

Job description

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Bilingual Chemical Batch Maker for our client’s manufacturing plant in Woodridge, IL.

The Bilingual Chemical Batch Maker is responsible for Production of all batched items for use in filling operations Picking, adding and blending raw materials, verifying quality and tracking inventory. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-$23/hr) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include:3rd shift: Mon-Fri 11:00 PM-7:00 AMOvertime is available on a first come, first serve basis.

Responsibilities of the Bilingual Chemical Batch Maker:

Obtaining a batch sheet from laboratory supervisorWeighing itemsBringing sample of completed batch to laboratory for testing and approvalAdjusting batch as dictated by laboratoryObtaining and applying tank ticket after laboratory approvalLabeling and filling of tote/drum/pail quantity productsChanging line and raw material filtersOperating and maintaining sodium hypochlorite reclaim systemImmediately reporting any safety/maintenance/equipment issues to the quality manager

Preferred Qualifications of the Bilingual Chemical Batch Maker:
