Suvida Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians and the clinic operations. The role includes maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examinations, assisting with exams, and front-desk tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, CCMA/CMA/RMA/NCMA certification, and EMR experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is required to serve the Hispanic senior population we care for.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification or Registration with CCMA, CMA, RMA, or NCMA.
• Experience with EMR and medical terminology.
• Previous experience in a specific medical field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• IM/PO medication administration as ordered by provider.
• Minor procedures (minor wound care, suture and staple removal).
• Assist with in-room diagnostic testing (X-Ray, US, etc.).
• Vitals and update patient medical history.
• Review orders/referrals with patient and discuss labs/tests with provider.
• Reinforce care plan and respond to patient calls the same day.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure continuity of care.
