Job summary

W. Lee Flowers is seeking a CDL Class A driver based in North Carolina. The role involves delivering goods on predefined routes from Hickory, with Monday–Friday schedules and bilingual (Spanish and English) communication requirements. Training will be provided to motivated candidates who show a willingness to learn.

The driver will perform inspections, handle loading/unloading, ensure order accuracy, and deliver excellent customer service while adhering to DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• CDL A with Medical Card.
• 1 year verifiable tractor–trailer experience.
• Travel required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Clean driving record.
• Stable work history.
• Bilingual (Spanish and English).

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on time.
• Review orders for accuracy and customer satisfaction.

CDL Drivers (Class A) are Responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional customer service to our client base.

We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of vehicle before and after the trip.
• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Ensure contents are properly secured inside of truck to prevent breakage or damage
• Comply with DOT regulations.

Qualifications
