Job summary

Merchants Distributors, LLC in Hickory, NC is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to ensure timely deliveries on predetermined routes. You will inspect vehicles, load and unload, review orders, and provide exceptional customer service to clients along your schedule.

The position requires a valid CDL-A with a Medical Card, at least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience, bilingual (Spanish and English), and a clean driving record. Travel is required and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items.
• Accepting payments for delivered items.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

We will provide training to the right person who can demonstrate motivation and a willingness to learn.
