Job summary

CMHA York Region is seeking a High Intensity CBT Clinician fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese to join the Ontario Structured Psychotherapy (OSP) team. The clinician will provide assessment and treatment, with most sessions conducted for high-intensity CBT across diverse settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree and bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin, with Cantonese preferred. Travel within York Region & South Simcoe is expected, and hours include evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health, mental health, or social services required.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin; Cantonese preferred.
• Member in good standing with one of Ontario’s Colleges regulating psychotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and assessment (triage/intake) with majority time on treatment.
• Clinician conducts 60‑minute weekly therapy sessions in various modalities (phone, virtual, in-person).
• CBT protocols cover mood and anxiety disorders; adapt to clinical needs.
• Deliver high-intensity services in-person as required and travel within York Region & South Simcoe.
