Cavender’s in Mississippi is seeking a Bilingual Cashier to deliver best-of-the-West customer service. The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, answering questions, and assisting with finding solutions in English and Spanish.

You’ll maintain a clean, organized sales floor, stock merchandise, recover displays, and support daily store operations while following company policies. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accurate operation of a Point of Sale system and handling cash and electronic transactions.
• Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the shift.
• Safe use of store equipment including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, including speaking, reading, and understanding both languages.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, engage with them throughout their shopping experience, and thank them for their business.
• Process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure merchandise accuracy and display according to company standards.
• Promote store programs, promotions, and suggest complementary merchandise.
• Provide accurate and courteous responses to customer inquiries in person and over the phone.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
• Report safety concerns to store management and follow company policies.
