Job summary

Catholic Charities Community Services (CCCS) seeks a Case Manager/Family Development Coach to support families in Washington Heights. The role emphasizes engagement, planning and crisis intervention to help clients access shelter, food, and essential services.

The position requires a bachelor’s or associate degree in human services with at least two years in social services and bilingual Spanish/English communication. Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; full-time, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human services with 2+ years in social services.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with data management systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Engage, assess, plan services and follow up using strengths-based approach.
• Provide crisis intervention for shelter, food, and basic needs through assistance and resources.
• Respond to community disasters and provide case management support.
• Help clients navigate social service systems and build networks.
• Enter data into data systems and meet program deliverables.
