Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a compassionate bilingual caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care in the Granbury, TX area. The role requires comfort communicating in English and Spanish and a schedule of Thursdays and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, medication reminders, and companionship, ensuring a safe, respectful home environment and clear communication with the client’s family and care team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Must be available every Thursday and Friday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.

Job description

Comfort Keepers is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and bilingual Caregiver who speaks both English and Spanish to provide one-on-one in-home care for a client and family in the Granbury, TX area.

We are specifically looking for someone who can communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish and is available to work every Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

What We Offer

• $15.50–$17.00 per hour
• Consistent Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM schedule
• 12-hour day shifts
• One-on-one care in a private home setting
• Paid training and ongoing support
• Support from a local Comfort Keepers office and scheduling team

What You'll Do

Depending on the client's individual needs and care plan, you may assist with:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and basic kitchen tasks
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and social engagement
• Supporting daily routines and activities
• Providing a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment
• Communicating with the client and family in English and Spanish
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition or needs
• Following the client's care plan and communicating with the Comfort Keepers team

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Previous experience caring for seniors is a plus
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and respectful
• Able to work independently and follow a client's care plan
• Must be available every Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Willingness to complete company-required training
