Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking an Exercise Instructor to deliver cardiovascular and yoga classes and promote healthy lifestyles across sites in San Diego. This per diem role involves engaging program participants and maintaining attendance records.
The position requires a High School Diploma, fitness certification or 1 year of group-exercise experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. Travel between sites is an essential function and a California driver’s license is needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma and fitness certification preferred or 1 year experience leading exercise groups.
- Experience leading cardiovascular and yoga exercise group sessions.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required.
Responsabilités
- Ensures participants sign waiver at start of series.
- Keeps staff informed on issues related to instruction.
- Provides cardiovascular and yoga classes to participants.
- Maintains class attendance logs and reports monthly.
